I am lokoing for information on James Reasor, born in Virginia around 1814. He married Margaret Painter. James passed away in 1900, and Margaret passed away in 1897.

History of Lee Co., VA says Edward Ketchum married Mary Reasor in 1791. She was supposedly sister of a Daniel Reasor. Very little else known as to where Edward and Mary lived or died. A legal affadavit in Texas lists Edwards children. I have his descendants on my web page. Would like any information about Mary Reasor. http://www.hal-pc.org/~berrys

My maiden name was Carma Leta Reasor. My father was Peter S. Reasor, born 6-12-1882. His father was John Jay Reasor. His grandfather was Daniel Reasor. My father’s mother was Amanda Pennington Reasor. My father Peter married Ora Lee Dunn York and raised eight children in Atoka, Oklahoma.

My name is Emma Bea Hobbs Stallings in Knoxville, Tn. Daniel Sheffy Reasor was my great grandfather on my mother’s side. Mother was Melissa Mae Reasor Hobbs, the daughter of John J. and Beatrice Reasor. Daniel Sheffy and Betsy Skaggs Reasor were Beatrice’s parents, and Peter Milton and Melissa Jones Reasor were John J.’s parents. I have a letter that Daniel Sheffy wrote when he was in the Civil War and was captured at Cumberland Gap and walked to prison in Ohio.
